This lovely 18" natural Larimar bead necklace features 109 3-4mm rondelle beads.  It is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp and three rings for an adjustable length. This delicate necklace is beautiful worn alone and is a perfect size to add a pendant. Larimar is a rare stone mined only in the Dominican Republic where it was thought to be from the Lost City of Atlantis. It actually comes from a volcanic deposit on the island.  The discoverer of this stone named it for his daughter, Larissa, and mar meaning sea in Spanish.  The soft blue color looks like the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Handmade in New Mexico by a Navajo artist.
